  2. The full amount has to be received by the University before they will confirm the admission of a student into their chosen degree programme. Students may choose to avail of payment facilitation services provided by AZMEC.
  3. Fees and charges listed for year 2 onwards (Table 2; semester 3 for Fall semester joinees, semester 2 for Spring semester joinees) are indicative and subject to change, as the university reserves the right to revise these charges due to changes in USD/SOM exchange rates, high inflation or major changes in the global economic environment. For the INR amounts listed, no guarantees are given regarding the USD/INR exchange rate, and readers should consider these as being indicative only.

Notes on Official Charges

The notes are for the charges the Candidate is required to pay, as listed in the first table above, after the issuance of the "Conditional Admission Letter" by the university for the completion of the admission and visa issuance process.

  1. Standard Tuition

    To be paid annually
    Fees are to be paid before the beginning of the September semester each year for the duration of the MBBS programme which is 5.5 years. The basic standard tuition is subject to change each year to adjust for inflation and other extraneous costs, and all such changes will be announced by the university and are not expected to exceed 5% p.a. .

  2. Room and Board

    Mandatory for 1st year, optional for following years
    This charge is mandatory for the 1st year and includes charges for the hostel and for the mess (room and board) for a period of two (2) semesters, which is a normal year at university. From the 2nd year onwards, students have the option of moving off-campus into private housing. They are free to arrange their off-campus living and eating needs 2nd year onwards as per their personal preferences. Therefore, after the first year, students will only be required to pay this charge if they opt for housing and mess arranged by the university. This charge is subject to change in line with inflation and other extraneous costs.

  3. New Student Intake Charge

    One time only
    This charge is only applied to students once, and the means and timing of the full or partial payment(s) will be determined by us, AZMEC, who may collect a ful or partial amount of this charge on behalf of the university. AZMEC will inform the candicate of the payment schedule for this charge. This fee may be related to activities undertaken by AZMEC during the admissions process. All advances paid towards this charge are fully refundable if the student declines admission or is refused admission to the university, unless otherwise stated in the agreement signed by the applicant with AZMEC prior to processing of a candidate’s application.

  4. Document Preparation

    One Time
    This charge is applicable for all students to translate their documents that’s needed for processing of their visa application.

  5. Medical Examination

    One time
    This charge is for the medical exam that is mandatory on first admission to all medical universities for students.

  6. e-Visa Application Fees

    Annual
    Required by the Visa issuing authority for the processing of long-term education related stay in Kyrgyzstan.
    [PLEASE NOTE: The government very recently increased visa fees to USD $500 from the previous USD $400 charge.]

  7. Health Insurance

    Annual
    Government mandated health insurance, where this insurance policy required of all foreign students; paid annually, and subject to change as directed by the government.
